SCSA Scholarship Program

The South Cuyahoga Sportsmen’s Association is pleased to announce that we will once again make two $1000 scholarships available to dependent children and grandchildren of eligible South Cuyahoga Sportsmen’s Association members. The annual Marilynne Lieb and Timothy Holowecky Memorial scholarships encourage higher education for children of our members and reflects our organizations ongoing commitment to our members and their families. High school graduates who are enrolled or accepted for their freshman year along with full time students currently enrolled in undergraduate courses at an accredited junior college, four-year college, or university, are encouraged to apply.

The scholarship application process is completely online. Requests for a scholarship application should be emailed to Bill Kuhar at scsa.scholarship@gmail.com Upon receipt of the request, a reply email will be sent to the applicant with a fillable pdf form and link to an online form with instructions. The fully completed form should be returned to the same email address with as much relevant information as possible, such as transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc. as attachments. Applications must be returned no later than Monday August 3, 2026. The scholarship committee will review all applications and will award the two scholarships at the August Trustees meeting. Successful applicants will be notified by email and be awarded their scholarships by our Treasurer via USPS mail service after verification of current enrollment is confirmed by your college.
